However if you find a diamond of the same quality as our quote at a cheaper price from another Australian based supplier we will match or beat their advertised price for the loose diamond purchase.
It is often difficult to present all possible diamond options to our clients so before you by a diamond anywhere else always check with one of our consultants to see if we have the same quality diamond in stock that is offered by another supplier. If we can match your diamond offer we will offer up to 4% discount on a diamond with the identical or better specifications.
What to do if you find a better Price
If you believe that you have found a diamond at a better price from an Australian based supplier inform one of our consultants or send us through a copy of the official quote/ advertised price with the suppliers details and a copy of the diamond certificate and diamond image where required. Diamond Brokers Queensland will only better the price for an identical diamond and will be the sole discretionary as to wether the diamonds are of identical quality.
If we do not have the same quality diamond in stock then we will provide a diamond of the same or better specifications.
The price quoted for the diamond needs to be offered by a legitimate industry professional that is available at that price to the public and must not be combined with any other diamond or ring purchase.
If required, to match some offered prices Diamond Brokers Queensland will require full upfront payment for diamonds ordered.
How We determine Identical Diamonds
When matching a diamond there are specific criteria that we use to determine if a diamond is actually identical.
Diamond certification – The diamond must be certified by the same independent certification laboratory and have the same cut, polish and symmetry grade.
Colour Grade – The diamond must have the same colour grade and same tint colour if in the lower colour grades
Carat Weight – The diamond must be no less than 0.02ct smaller than the quoted diamond and must not fall below a significant diamond weight price brackets.
Clarity Grade – The diamond must be of the same clarity grade with similar inclusion types and in a similar position. The effects of any milky appearance or clouds must also be identified.
Fluorescence – The strength, colour and effect must be identical.
Dimensions – The diamond measurements and proportions must be within a 5% margin of error.
