All second-hand products are purchased in the condition that they are and are the responsibility of the purchaser once payment has been made. It there is a problem or misrepresentation of the product then the purchaser must advise Diamond Brokers Queensland of the issue within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or refund.

Direct Order Diamonds
Diamonds and gems ordered directly from our overseas cutting manufacturers are purchased with full advice on the nature of the quality of the product with as much details provided as possible. All imported diamonds and gems come with an independent gem certificate to identify the quality purchased but if the diamond arrives and is not accurately represented by the certificate then an exchange or suitable alternative will be sought.
Due to the fluctuating nature of the wholesale diamond industry all prices quoted for diamond imports will only be honoured for 24 hours. The prices quoted for diamonds on our international diamond search page are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST. Delivery of loose diamonds from the time that the deposit has been made can be expected to be made within 5 – 21 days.
Custom Made Jewellery
Unless stated in the invoice all of our custom made jewellery is handmade by our workshop to the highest standard using only the best materials and procedures so that your jewellery will look spectacular and last a lifetime. All of our rings are designed and manufactured exclusively for each individual client and all efforts are made to ensure our client understands the design. As each ring will differ due to the proportions of the diamonds and ring style, sketches and diagrams are provided during the design process to help clients envision their design. The design and manufacture of a ring is a fluid process which means that the end result may slightly alter from the initial photos or sketches provided where deemed required by the jewellery manufacturer for design or structural purposes. When ordering a custom ring based off the design images of diamond rings on this site, the gem size and metal used in these rings can be altered in any way required to produce a new diamond ring.
However design reproductions may not always look identical to the image displayed on the website due to the diamond proportions used and the individual nature of hand making jewellery. All diamond jewellery made to order has a usual expected time frame for completion between three and six weeks depending on current workloads. If enough notice has been given and the ring must be complete by a certain date we will do all in our powers to make sure your ring is complete by this time. If a new job is required urgently we can often speed up this process to get the job completed for the client but may incur additional charges. Any major alteration requirements from the original design after construction may be possible and consultation will be made with the client during this process to achieve the best final result.
As we sell our jewellery at wholesale prices once the ring is complete we can make slight alterations to the design without additional fees but any major changes may incur an additional charge above the quoted price. Our jewellery is handmade to a high standard of construction but occasionally there may be an unseen fault or a diamond may become loose or fall out of the setting. If you experience any problems with our jewellery at any time please contact our office for assistance. All jewellery will be guaranteed against any manufacturing or metal faults and will be repaired free of charge. Coverage includes labour, any metal replacement and diamonds smaller than 0.15ct, it does not include deliver costs, damage from wear and tear or diamonds larger than 0.15ct. The loss of any large diamonds or significant accidental damage to the jewellery must be covered by the client or their insurance. If a clients design is deemed to be of a high risk design this will be advised before it is manufactured and will not have our full coverage.
