Brisbane Wedding Rings
Many Brisbane clients will still choose to have a simple plain band for their weddings which may or may not be a matching set and can be made in different widths and profiles to suit any requirements. However, a plain wedding band is not essential with many people now choosing diamond set bands or even rings that are more of a designer ring.
Ladies Diamond Set Wedding Bands
Diamond set wedding bands have become very popular amongst ladies for their wedding rings mainly with greater affordability and the popularity of white gold which allows for band set diamonds to look much more attractive. Regardless of the style of the engagement ring, many girls find that a diamond set wedding band gives greater enhancement to their ring. Generally to keep with the wedding band appearance most women will design their band to match the band of their engagement ring, setting the diamonds in either a claw, pave or channel setting. A white gold ring helps to improve the appearance of small set diamonds making them look larger and blending the gold and diamonds into a singular look as yellow gold tends to create a distinct contrast to the diamonds giving them an individual appearance.
Men’s Wedding Rings
Far from the days of seeing the same set of only a handful of standard band designs, men’s wedding ring options are almost endless with a wide variety of metals other than just gold including platinum, palladium, titanium, tungsten, steel, anodised aluminium and even wood. In multiple widths, profiles and metal combinations men’s wedding bands are highly stylised with a design for almost everyone. There are a few things that we suggest when considering your wedding ring. Most men will find that a thickness between 5-7 will be ideal as under this will look quite thin and over 7mm will start to become quite bulky.. Many men’s wedding rings now also come set with diamonds that complement the design and keep a masculine appearance. Most of these rings are cast or machine-made to a very high standard which helps to keep the cost down and produces a product that is often better finished than a much more expensive handmade men’s ring.
When Should You Order Your Wedding Rings?
With all of the pieces that need to be organised to create your wedding when is the right time to order your wedding rings? Although there is no wrong time to book your bands we recommend that around 3-4 months out from the wedding can be the perfect time. It will often take up to a month to have your wedding rings created from when you order them which allows plenty of time for any adjustments that may need to be made as at the same time it is a great opportunity to have your engagement ring cleaned and polished so that it also looks its best for you big day.

Custom-Fitted Wedding Rings
Although most engagement rings will be created with consideration of the ability to match and fit a variety of standard parallel or curved wedding bands some ring designs are more difficult and require a custom-fitted wedding ring. Sometimes this is done by stores to ensure that you have to buy the matching ring from their store and sometimes because it was not addressed in the original design process.
